Brittany's Opening Statement

Brittany, please make your opening statement here.

Hey everybody sorry for making you wait so long. I am not feeling very well so I will make this short and try to answer your questions in a timely manner.

First I want to say Congratulations to my partner Will for playing an awesome game. He and I were aligned since day 1. Shortly afterward I realized that Eddie was also a good friend so we made a final 3. From that point on everything I did was to ensure that we made it to the end together.

This was no easy task since there were some other very savvy players in the game and one of them recognized Will from other games and targeted him right off the bat. If that wasn't bad enough the same player made comments to me that lead me to believe Eddie was also in danger so I went into high gear and did my best to win challenges early on. Josh was a nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him but once he made it clear he was going after my allies I had to make sure he left so I won the HOH and nominated him.

Once Josh was gone things settled down a bit but Will was still a target and I wanted to protect him. I tried to win HOHs so I could control the nominations.I succeeded in winning 4 HOHs which kept my allies safe but it forced me to make nominations almost every other week. Playing aggressively early on can often make you a huge target but despite winning 5 comps I was fortunate not to have been nominated during the game.

In week 2 when Josh nominated Will with Chicken George it was a gift from the BB Gods because I knew CG would leave but Josh did too and he wanted to change the noms and possibly put Eddie up so I fought for that POV and got it. I didnt use it on Will because I knew we had the votes against CG and I didnt want to " out" my alliance with Will so early in the game.

I think my game was pretty evenly balanced between social, strategic and winning comps when needed however I want to close by saying I did not get here by myself. I had two awesome allies at my side throughout. Eddie kicked butt in challenges and really earned his right to be here with us but I was forced to make a difficult decision and it gives me no feeling of accomplishment knowing that I had to leave him out. I also want to say that I met some great people here and I know that I will be keeping in touch with several of you after the game ends.
