Boston, Mass. has one of the world’s largest pasta markets, as in they’re one of the biggest consumers of it. In 1969 a now infamous commercial depicted a family in New England (or Boston?) waiting for the last member of the table to arrive, the narrator saying “Anthony usually takes his time to get home, but not today, because every Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day.”
